The collaboration of Dalhousie University Life Sciences (3DBioFibr Inc.) & NSCAD University Fashion/Textiles, creating potential PPE garments and masks using a proprietary "dry-spinning" process (mimicking spiders) to produce low denier multifilament fibers from proteins (e.g. collagen & spider silk). Focused mainly on collagen, braided and woven to medical device OEMs and 3D in vitro tissue culture. This documentation, follows the real and surreal aspects of the new technology and the collaboration of Art and Science.
